Tropical diseases and infections such as malaria and typhoid fever continue to account for high numbers of preventable deaths. Approximately 1.2 million people, most of which are in Sub Saharan Africa, die annually from these preventable diseases. The prevention of acute infection is of utmost importance in the same way the treatment of acute episodes is. Our goal at ACHF is to facilitate increase prevention and control measures in partnership local governments and non-governmental organizations, with in order to drastically reduce these preventable deaths.
We aim to improve access to preventive measures using our mobile health clinics and other technologies.
